START YOUR ENGINES FCR RULES AND
SPECIFICATIONS No car may exceed 3¼”
width at any point. All
cars must have a track clearance of 1/16”, or .063”
minimum at all points at the beginning of the race. Motors
must be a Parma #501 (DeathStar 16D) with original seal. All
cars must have a 1/24 scale FCR 4.5” WB Brass Chassis #578.
You may solder or glue bushings or motors in place. You may also
add guide flag brace and/or wire retainers. You
may add weight to your car. You
may change the crown gear, but the new one must have a 9-tooth
pinion. Pinion may be changed to a steel gear in place of the stock
brass. You
must use a Lexan stock car or truck body with no modification. The
body must be held on with Velcro. Cars and trucks can be run
together if necessary to fill a class. Hard-bodies must be held on
with tape or Velcro. If it drags on the track, you
will be black-flagged!
You
must use only approved FCR tires with a minimum diameter of 13/16”,
with 1/8” front and rear axles. You may space wheels.
Only
Turbo or Sebring controllers can be used for Lexan classes. You may
use any controller for the Hard-body class.
You
may use any guide flag, wires, nuts, braids or spacers.
The
following modifications are allowed in stock class races: You
may use any guide flag, spacers, braids, wires, gear combination or
axle size. You may also add wire bearings and/or rear axle bearings. START
YOUR ENGINES GENERAL
RULES Anyone
that is racing will be expected to turn marshal as well. The
use of tire traction compound is permitted as well as braid juice. Absolutely
NO obscene language, food or drinks around the track will be
tolerated. Anyone
purposely aggravating another racer or caught cheating will be asked
to leave, and no refunds will be given.
Anyone
caught cheating or running an illegal motor will be asked to leave
and not return.
