4” FLEXI-CAR RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS


  1. Cars must be stamped metal 4” wheelbase such as Parma Flexi-Kar, JK, or Champion. No modification, cutting or bending. You may brace or weight the car and/or solder the motor in place.


  1. Motors must be a Parma #501 (DeathStar 16D). You may change the brushes and springs.


  1. 48 or 64 pitch 3/32” or 1/8” axle gears must be used.


  1. Rear tires must have a diameter of ¾” (.750”) minimum, and must be black. Front tires must be ½” diameter. No wing car tires are allowed. Tires must be evenly spaced on BOTH sides. No intentional “stagger” is allowed.


  1. Cars cannot be any wider than 3¼”, excluding body clips, tape or pins.


  1. Bodies will have no modifications and must cover the entire chassis and flag, and must be painted. BODIES THAT DRAG ON THE TRACK WILL BE BLACK-FLAGGED. NASCAR or GTP-styled bodies will be run in separate classes. You may want to keep both styles on hand in order to fill classes.


  1. NO additional spoilers or airfoils are allowed.



The following modifications are allowed in stock class races:


You may use any guide flag, spacers, braids, wires, gear combination or axle size. You may also add wire bearings and/or rear axle bearings.

GENERAL RULES


Anyone that is racing will be expected to turn marshal as well.


The use of tire traction compound is permitted as well as braid juice.


Absolutely NO obscene language, food or drinks around the track will be tolerated.


Anyone purposely aggravating another racer or caught cheating will be asked to leave, and no refunds will be given.


Anyone caught cheating or running an illegal motor will be asked to leave and not return.
